I was honoured to be asked to perform with African dancer Lucky Lartey, in his most recent show with his ensemble, ‘The Jamestown Collective’.
Originally from Ghana, Lucky now resides in Sydney, and we are blessed to have someone this talented in Sydney! This 2-concert series featured Lucky performing African dance, gumboot percussion and original choreography, along with Diane Busuttil tap dancing, Pepsi Magonya dance and body percussion, Maharshi Raval on tabla, and myself on keys and cajon. We performed at the Uptown Festival in Pyrmont and at The Factory Theatre, with both shows being a great success. I look forward to the next one – thanks for the opportunity Lucky 🙂
