He is preparing to launch his second album ‘ODYSSEY’ in June 2022, featuring 8 new compositions scored for this instrumentation. Byron has been working on this over the past 3 years, and is excited to share the new music with you very soon!

The compositions, inspired by flamenco and Indian rhythms; are also coloured with Latin and Jazz rhythms/harmonies, whilst staying true to his classical piano roots. Byron’s Septet has performed at various venues over the past 3 years to road test the pieces, and the big launch will be announced soon!

Jamestown Collective

Jamestown is a unique group of musicians and dancers directed by Lucky Lartey, an African and contemporary dancer from Ghana. Lucky gathered artists in this ensemble together to fuse rhythms from all around the world (North-West Africa/India/Spain/Greece), mixed with the powerful tap dance rhythms of Sally Dashwood.

The combination of tabla, cajon, keyboards, talking drum, tap dance, balafon, calabash, and Lucky’s unique gumboot dancing, provides endless possibilities and explorations of sound, movement and rhythm. Jamestown is also joined by special spoken word artist and poet Michael St George.
