Sydney Cajon Workshops

If you’ve ever wanted to play a Cajon and learn some funky world rhythms, this is the place to be! Byron offers various cajon courses throughout the year (typically following the school term calendar) teaching you technique, world grooves and fun performance ideas.

Currently performing flamenco and African percussion in many ensembles around Australia, Byron also loves to share his passion for rhythm. His rhythmic arrangements fuse elements of flamenco, African and modern funk/pop grooves to create a fun and fresh approach to Cajon playing and drum workshops.

Byron and his Cajon ensemble, the ‘Cajon Cats’ also created a live video clip! This gives you a glimpse into the rhythmic fun in Byron’s workshops, and the awesomeness of all the Cajonero’s! Watch the clip here!

COURSE DETAILS: classes are on Saturday mornings.

Intermediate: 10.30 – 11.30am
Advanced: 11.30am – 12.15pm
