Flamenco on Hang

As part of my upcoming Septet project, I recently composed a piece for Hang using the flamenco palo called Seguiriyas. This is a rhythm in the famous flamenco 12-beat cycle, and the first time I have composed a melodic piece in this rhythmic form. Now that the hang and tabla are recorded, (with my awesome friend and colleague Maharshi Raval on tabla), I will go ahead and compose all the string parts – can’t wait to hear what it will sound like!
